Why buy salsa in a jar when you can make it at home?! Its easy, delicious, and fresh. You have total control of what your putting into your tomato salsa, now that’s priceless! This recipe taste like the ones you would get for free at your local Mexican restaurant.
- 400 g tomatoes (1 can)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 Jalapeno
- 2 Tbsp coriander fresh
- 2 Tbsp carrot
- 2 Tbsp celery
- 1 1/2 Tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- In a food processor throw in all the ingredients except the tomatoes. Pulse and blend until you get a finely diced mixture.
- Pour it into a bowl. In the food processor, put the tomatoes tomatoes. Pulse about 5 times, only until it is roughly chopped. Pour it into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients and mix well, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with corn chips.
You can use fresh cherry tomatoes.
