Oh, Hi cookie monsters! So I came up with a new, fun and recurring post that I will be doing every month. “What’s in my cookie jar?” I say monthly because I was thinking weekly, but since we are just two and Rastacook doesn’t want me too bake too much, I will be making cookies once every two weeks. Most of them will be testing new recipes. Some will be repeats depending on how good that recipe is. I can tell you right now that there are occasional cravings of chocolate chip cookies. Luckily I haven’t found a favorite recipe yet so you will get to see me test out some.
For the first “What’s in My Cookie Jar.” Obviously, pumpkin related. I tried chewy chocolate chip pumpkin cookies with brown butter icing recipe, by Lindsey from American Heritage Cooking.com. Its by far one of my favorite cookie recipes I know. The cookie is moist and chewy, not too sweet but the brown butter icing really brings out its flavor and spices. I really hope you give this a try its simple, yet different you wont regret it! Happy baking!
I’m so glad you liked them!! Aren’t they crazy addicting?! You are making me want more right now!
