Great Food, Great Cause

On December the 17th I volunteered to help raise money for the Philippines. It was an event held at Mikado, a Japanese restaurant on Laurier. It was a set menu for 100$ per person, consisted of hors-d’oeuvres,  a 6 course meal, and all you can drink wine. The night was incredibly successful, its amazing to see so many people come together for a good cause and see how many kind-hearted souls out there that are willing to give up their time and work for free. I had a blast seeing people that I used to work with and working along their side once again. I had the honor of helping out in the kitchen, I assisted in plating the food and making sure it looked perfect. Check out some of the pictures below, sorry that the quality was not the best, it was from my phone 🙂
