I have never been the type to make new year resolutions, until now. For Christmas I received some new cookbooks, one of them is “Plenty” by Yotam Ottolenghi, which has only vegetarian recipes. I had mentioned that I wanted to have one day of the week which is vegetarian and one day which was fish dishes, so I was very excited to see this book. This cookbook is very interesting because the author is not a vegetarian, he is a writer for the weekend magazine “Guardian” in which he writes recipes for the vegetarian column. Unlike some vegetarian cookbooks that can be bland, this book has creative recipes that don’t compromise the taste, it has recipes with vibrant herbs and exotic ingredients, with interesting pairing that I would have never though of.
